JERVIS BAY SUMMER COTTAGE

Jervis Bay Rental Cottage is a very private, small, 2 bedroom, charming family cottage on the lake (sleeps 6), lovingly built by my dad and friends in 1940, using recycled materials. It's pine floor is recently refinished. There is a small TV/VCR, for those who can't stand the wrens and song sparrows singing!

Linens are provided (bedding for two double beds, some towels/washcloths, tea towels and firewood). Staples (i.e. salt, pepper, tea, sugar), a coffee perk, and toaster; also lots of dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils are available for your use.

The first thing you notice upon arrival is the antique wood stove plus the antique square extension table, which, when extended, can seat at least 12 people.

There is a 24" electric stove (with oven), a fridge with freezer at top;
a new microwave (for the 90’s convenience!), and a barbeque for outside use.

A two-piece bath was added, and a portable shower stall has been tastefully attached to the side of the cottage. For heat, when it is needed, a beautiful wood-burning woodstove, with an open fireplace, is used.

If you like lots of trees and a sunny location, you will love it. Stairs from the front yard lead directly down to the beach.
